| Proprietors Council and Business Council
The South Carolina Historical Society is a private, not-for-profit organization. Individual contributions are its lifeblood, without which, the Society could not fulfill its mission. This is a solicitation for you to become, if not already, an active supporter of the Society by joining the Proprietors' Council.
As a Proprietors Council or Business Council member you will receive all the benefits of regular membership, including the Society's two quarterly publications, Carologue and the South Carolina Historical Magazine, and research privileges at the Fireproof Building. Members of the Proprietors Council and Business Council also receive exclusive invitations to special events and complimentary tickets to our popular fall plantation tour. Additional benefits will be extended, based on membership level. Proprietors Council members are listed in the front of each issue of the South Carolina Historical Magazine.
