The South Carolina Historical Society sponsors a number of events for members and their guests throughout the year. From the South Carolina History Lecture Series and our Annual Meeting to Carolina Day and the Fall Tour, we hope you will join us!

Tuesdays, Jan. 20- March 10, 2015: Winter Lecture Series

The South Carolina Historical Society will present its eighth annual Winter Lecture series, People You Should Know: Remarkable South Carolinians, Part II. Beginning TuesdayJanuary 20, noted historians will discuss the trailblazers who left an indelible mark and the events that shaped us all.

Saturday, February 28, 2015: Annual Meeting

Join us for our 160th Annual Meeting! The day’s events will include a business meeting, mimosa social, and luncheon with keynote speaker Walter Edgar, Ph.D. Lunch will be followed by a tour of historic buildings on the College of Charleston campus and a special exhibit in our new location on the 3rd floor of the Addlestone Library at the College of Charleston.
