Join the South Carolina Historical Society as we participate in Charleston’s 5th annual Museum Mile. Thirteen cultural organizations will open their doors the weekend of September 20-22, presenting special programs and exhibits to the public.
The Fireproof Building will be open to visitors on:
Friday, September 20
1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
and
Saturday, September 21
11:00 am – 1:30 pm
Please join us for tours of the Fireproof Building on the hour.
Enjoy a special digital exhibit entitled: ”From Scottish Merchants to Aiken’s Ladies: The Evolution of Golf in South Carolina”
For just $25, visitors can purchase a special pass online at www.charlestonmuseummile.org or the official Charleston area visitor’s centers at 375 Meeting Street (downtown) or 99 Harry Hallman Boulevard (Mt. Pleasant). As always, admission to the Fireproof Building is free of charge for members.
