Copy.- From Earl Cornwallis to Lieutenant-colonel Tarleton, dated M'Alister's, January 8th, 1781. Dear Tarleton, I HAVE just received yours, 7th January, three o'clock P. M. I shall remain here to-morrow, march to cross roads on Wednesday, halt Thursday, and reach Bullock's-creek house Saturday. I have no news.
